After being stressed out at work, that song really relaxed me. At first I was confused, I thought it was a real recording, like on a 4 track or something. I had to re-read the description. Nice work on getting the levels and everything.. Nothing stands out and steals from another sound. Something seemed a little 'off' with the melody near the end, like the melody was hesitant to stop, but it ended anyway. IDK what else I can give in the way of constructive criticism. Nicely done.

Nice stereo drum line. You could have used a less generic bass guitar IMO, it sounds almost like classic MIDI. The skeleton of the song is there. You have PROPER arrangement. Nice buildups, they're not too long. There's enough variation in the song structure to keep the melody from feeling repetitive. The melody at the end is a nice change up though. Try running all of your lead synths through a 10% reverb, then compress the high dB and expand the low dB post reverb. It will breathe life without stealing from the drums. I promise! Great work! I was old on the Chippy sound. I can think of a few retro style flash games that this would be perfect for.

Love the beginning! You have a similar melodic style to some of my own stuff. Props. After listening to like 30 other songs, This is the first one I'm gonna recommend. Props!

I dig the melody, dude. The overdriven pad at the beginning messes with my ease of rhythm for some reason. I feel this song is going somewhere. Give it another 2 or 3 minutes and I'm sure it will be proper sweet when finished. Keep it up. Peace! - Atomchild

Thank you so much for the response and feedback! The beginning was definitely there to give that exact feeling, everything i create is straight from my mind, I have a short 5 song EP available for free at www(dot)purevolume(dot)com/PlanetFweez/albums/Hipsters+Must+Die+EP, and it basically tells a story of my mind and what i was going through during that time of my life!

I think you can get away with keeping both basslines without the silence as long as you give a good drum fill to introduce the new bassline, then once the new bassline comes in, you can throw in more closed hats and viola! Props to your track, keep up the good work!
